Brookhaven's Miracle Maya on Stonehill RN
Maya is the foundation bitch for Singing Sands Bernese Mountain Dogs. She is a solid girl with a big personality. She was a miracle because she was the only puppy in the litter and she had a very hard time with the first breaths of her life. She enjoys conformation, rally, agility, and drafting , but would prefer to be a couch potato. She was Reserve Winner's Bitch at the IL Regional Specialty in October 2011. She had her first litter of 10 puppies in February 2012, her second litter of 8 in July of 2013, and her final litter of 2 puppies in Janurary of 2014. She has been retired from our breeding program after producing 20 beautiful, happy puppies with her zeal for life! We had hoped to get her back in the conformation ring when she was a veteran and was dripping in coat just like her Stokerybos ancestors but we lost our beautiful girl in May 2017 due to histiocytic sarcoma in her lungs.
